Elsie Louise Stover Hardin, 94, of Dalton, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019.

She was the daughter of the late John and Flora Stover and was also preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James Edward Hardin; daughter, Linda Hardin Forrester; granddaughter, Sandra Lavon McGath; sisters, Bonnie Ellis, Mary Lois Willerson and Peggy Paris; sons-in-law, James Larry Poteet, Sr. and Kaelin Euthel Forrester; and sister-in-law, Mary Lois Hardin Dean.

Elsie is survived by her daughters, Barbara Elaine Hardin and Kaye Hardin Poteet-Williams (Kevin); grandchildren, Vicki Forrester Cooper (Greg), Sheri Mechele Cunningham and Kelley Marie Morrison; great-grandchildren, Christian, Chae and Christopher Cunningham, Kaitlyn Cooper Love (Bryan), Meriella Mykinzie and James Alexander; sisters, Romie Rittenhouse, Maxie Paris and Jayne Atchley; brothers, Fred Stover and Jack Stover; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with Rev. Dewey Atchley officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
