Vince Swafford
Vince D. Swafford, age 53, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Sunday October 13, 2019 at a local hospital.
Vince was born July 25, 1966 in Dalton, Ga., the son of the late Henry Grady Swafford and Janie Carr Swafford. Vince was also preceded in death by his brother, Keith Swafford.
Vince was a sports fan and enjoy watching the Dawgs, Braves and Falcons. For many years Vince was in the HVAC business and for the last few years he has worked at Engineer Floors.
Vince is survived by his daughters, Jessica (Jeremy) Burchfield, and Abby Swafford; son, Zachary Kendrick; brother, Dale (Sarah) Swafford; sisters, Rosy (Daniel Baggett) Swafford, Brittany (Scott) Holland; and grandchildren, Jayden, Jordan, Jacob and Jace.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Vince will be held Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ed Archer officiating.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 16, from 4-7 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel.
