Imogene Kilgore Vinson, 90, of South Pittsburg, Tennessee died Monday, October 21, 2019.

 

The daughter of the late Melvin Ras and Ella Mae Locke Kilgore, she was a longtime member of the Richard City Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Raymond E. Vinson; son, Dr. Randall Vinson; and brother, Melvin Loyd Kilgore.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Vinson Kellermann; son, Bobby (Kathi) Vinson; brother, Dr. Joe Kyle (Patsy) Kilgore; grandchildren, Lindy Kellermann, Kyle Kellermann, Stuart (Cori) Vinson, Mark (Victoria) Vinson, Rob (Juanita) Vinson, and Ryan (Dayna) Vinson; daughter-in-law, Rosa Vinson; and six great-grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be conducted from the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home at 1 p.m. Central time on Thursday, October 24, 2019. Interment will be in Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens.

 

The family will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday, October 23, from 5-8 p.m. Central time at the funeral home.

 

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
