Glenn Ellis Smith, 72, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on October 7, 2019.

He was a millwright in the machine industry and loved drag racing. Glenn attended Crossroads Baptist Church in Ooltewah.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Betty Smith; wife, Patricia Smith; daughter, Jenny Smith and son, B.G. Smith.

He is survived by his wife of six years, Evelyn Smith; children, Kate (John) McDonough and Missy (Randy) Turner; grandchildren, Joe Turner, Kayla Stampfli, Elijah Smith, Gabby Smith, Temperance McDonough and Violet McDonough; brother, Tim (Ann) Smith.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct, 11, at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel with the funeral service following immediately after at 1 p.m.

Burial will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.

Arrangements are held by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
