Hazel Oliver
Hazel Louise Oliver, 92, of LaFayette, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019.
She was a member of Cooper Heights Church of God.
Hazel enjoyed working in her flowers and won the Yard of the Month Community Prize Award several times.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Bruce W. Oliver and Dennis T. Oliver; parents, William Couey and Jessie Mae Dimsdale Couey; three brothers; two sisters; and former husband, Roy Clyde Oliver.
She is survived by her son, Rev. Kenneth (Mary Gayle) Oliver; grandchildren, Chris (Kelly) Oliver, Stephen Oliver, Marty (Dena) Oliver, and Keith (Dede) Oliver; 18 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret Burrell Clower of Kennesaw; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Chris Oliver officiating.
Interment will be at LaFayette City Cemetery.
Pallbearers are her great-grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
