Jennie Mae Rouse, 89, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday, November 18, 2019 at Regency Park.

Jennie was born Oct, 15, 1930 to her parents, Buford and Lucy Keith Kinnamon. Mrs. Rouse worked for Sample concepts for many years as a binder operator. Jennie was a devoted and faithful member of Antioch Baptist church and loved her church family.

Mrs. Rouse is preceded in death by her parents, Buford and Lucy Keith Kinnamon and her beloved husband, Hubert Ellis Rouse; sister, Margaret Hipp; and brother, Lewis William Kinnamon.

Survivors include nephews and spouse, Ronald and Sheryl Hipp, David and Carmen Hipp; nieces, Connie and Darlo Koldenhoven; cousins, Kathy Brown and Greg Kinnamon; great-nephews, Colby Hipp, Matthew Howard and Steven Howard; and great-nieces, Ashley Stafford, Amanda Greeson, Lisa Tanner, Debra Roland and Jennifer Howard.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Jennie Mae Rouse will be held Thursday, Nov. 21, at 3 p.m. in the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Donald Cantrell officiating.

Jennie will be laid to rest beside her husband at the West Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m.

In lieu of flowers make contributions to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital or The Shriners Hospital in memory of Mrs. Rouse.
