BlueCross Partners With Read 20 For Children’s Literacy Event At Northside Neighborhood House

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee will partner with Read 20 for a children’s literacy event at Northside Neighborhood House in downtown Chattanooga on Monday.

Read 20 promotes childhood literacy by encouraging adults to read with children for 20 minutes each day. 

Dakasha Winton, BlueCross senior vice president of government affairs, will read a book to the children and gift each child their own magazine and book. She will also be presenting a participant with the millionth book from the Read 20 program. 

Hamilton County Mayor Jim Coppinger and representatives of all three organizations will be in attendance.
