John “Bud” F. Braden gained his wings and went to his final home on Thursday, November 7, 2019.  

Bud, as he was known by, was born in and lived in South Pittsburg, until nine years ago when he made his home in Scottsboro, Al., to be closer to his family.  He had been employed with Cardin Logging Company as a logger until his retirement.   Bud was of the Baptist faith and in his past time, he enjoyed fishing, story- telling and most of all enjoying time with his family he loved so dearly. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maddie Braden; parents, Benjamine and Cora Braden; brothers, Lee, Isam, Issac, Francis and Johnny Braden and sister, Vinnie Adams.

Bud leaves numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews behind to cherish his memories.

The family wishes to thank Ms. Betty, Ms. Regina and the entire staff at Hospice Family Care in Huntsville, AL for all their love, support and care they gave to Bud in his final days. The kindness did not go unnoticed. 

The family will receive friends at Tate Funeral Home on Friday, Nov. 8, from 3-8 p.m. CT. 

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Tate Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. CT with Brother Doyle Chamblee officiating.

Bud will be laid to rest following the funeral service at Hargis Cove Cemetery in South Pittsburg, Tn. 37380.
