Silverdale Baptist Academy Honors Veterans In Annual Program

  • Thursday, November 7, 2019

Each year, Silverdale Baptist Academy honors local veterans who have served in the United States military at a school-wide Veterans Day celebration.

"We are proud of the service and sacrifice of so many, and never want to forget those who gave so much for the freedoms this great country enjoys today," officials said.

The theme of this year's event is "We Celebrate You!" and this year's keynote speaker is Lieutenant Kittrell Smith, United States Navy (retired).

This event is open to all local veterans who they would like to invite as their distinguished guests of honor. A reception for veterans will begin at noon in the Silverdale Room, with the program at 1 p.m. in the Silverdale Baptist Church sanctuary.

Veterans can share their information and reserve seats for the program at silverdaleba.org/vetday.
