The Catoosa County Sheriff's Office said Kelly Ann McInnes, 28, who had been missing for several days, was found on Friday in Jacksonville, Fla.

The family of Ms. McInnes reported to the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office that she packed her vehicle with most of her belongings and left her residence at 86 Brownwood Lane, Ringgold. The family reported that Ms. McInnes suffers from mental health issues and has not been taking her medication. She left the residence in her vehicle, which is a white 2019 Hyundai Tucson with Florida tag 28EET.

On Nov. 6, the Sheriff’s Office was notified that the vehicle was observed the previous date by a camera license plate reader at the intersection of Northside Parkway and Mount Paran Road in Atlanta. The vehicle was gone prior to local lawenforcement arriving at the area.

On Nov. 7, the Sheriff’s Office was notified that on Nov. 6, Ms. McInnes rented a hotel room in Jasper, Ga. When law enforcement arrived, hotel personnel advised she had checked into a room, but had already checked out. Hotel personnel advised she was alone when she checked into the hotel.

On Nov. 7, the Sheriff’s Office was notified that McInnes’ vehicle was observed via a camera license plate reader at 11:30 p.m near Church Street and Margaret Avenue Marietta, Ga. Local law enforcement responded to the area, but the vehicle was gone prior to their arrival.

On Nov. 8, the Sheriff’s Office was notified that Ms. McInnes’ debit card was used at a gas station in Savannah, Ga. Local law enforcement was unable to locate her.

Family members had advised Ms. McInnes may be headed to South Carolina or Florida.

Officials had said that although Ms. McInnes is a legal adult and is legally able to leave her residence, there is still concern about her mental welfare. There is no evidence to suggest she is with anyone else or being held or manipulated against her will.
