She supported the church family by serving as a deacon and in various committee leadership roles, teaching Sunday school, and expressing her passion for music through choir. She loved fellowship in faith, and remained a follower of Christ for life.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Hugh McArthur of Tallahassee, Fl.; son, Robert Wilbanks of Dalton; daughter-in-law, Lily Chen of Atlanta, Ga.; grandsons, Nathaniel (Jessica) Amos of Ft. A memorial service will be held Monday, Nov. 11, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Dalton with Rev. Dr. Jonathan Barlow, Rev. Phillip Cannon and Rev. Larry Flanagan officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service Monday, Nov. 11, from 12-2 p.m. in the Atrium of the Church.

The family asks that flowers be omitted and memorials made to First Baptist Church of Dalton (P.O. Box 827 Dalton, GA 30722-0827), The Alzheimer’s Association (922 E.
