The BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee Foundation will join community partners to break ground on its newest BlueCross Healthy Place in Highland Park next Wednesday.
The event marks the beginning of the construction phase of the $4.2 million project which, when complete, will feature a pavilion for community gatherings, a walking track and sports courts, accessible playgrounds, a 40-yard dash and a challenge course, and a multipurpose field with bleachers and a concession area.
Those set to take part include representatives from BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy, Chattanooga Preparatory School and the Highland Park community.
It will be at 1800 Anderson Ave.
