Board members of the Hamilton County WWTA elected a new slate of officers at the last official meeting of the year.
Dick Gee was elected to serve as chair with Alice Cannella serving as vice chair. Bill McGriff will serve as treasurer with Tyler Howell serving as secretary and Walker Jones serving as assistant secretary.
Chairman Gee noted the board’s appreciation for outgoing chair Mike Moon. “Mike set a high bar for service to the community as our board chair.
Under his watch, we addressed many significant issues and projects that are modernizing our system and increasing our efficiencies. But more than that, Mike provided a foundation that will serve us well as we address the challenges we face going forward. For that, we are extremely appreciative of his efforts and look forward to his continued service on the board.”
