Shirley Louise Davenport of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019, in a local hospital.
She was a graduate of Riverside High School Class of 1969. She retired from Wheland Foundry. She was a member of Living Word Ministries House of Refuge.
Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Ruthie Favors Morris; fathers, James Muckle, Sr., and Oscar Morris; sister, Deborah Muckle.
Survivors include her children, Le’Shawn, Le’Sherian, Tinesia, Tamesia Davenport, Samuel James Goins, III, all of Chattanooga; brothers, Myron (Rubye) Favors, James Muckle, Jr., Carl, Freddie Muckle of Chattanooga; sister, Kathleen Muckle; aunts, Mildred Jones of Atlanta, GA, Louise Blackwell, Janet Muckle, of Chattanooga a; a host of other relatives and friends.
The body will lie in state on Friday, April 5, from 12–7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 6 in the chapel.
