Harold Edwin “Eddie” Hicks, 64, of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019, at a local health care facility. 

Harold was a 1972 graduate of Red Bank High School and enjoyed playing church league softball in his earlier days, watching sports, and supporting his Tennessee Vols. He was last employed by Tennessee Wholesale where he retired in 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howell and Dorothy Hicks; step-mother, Bobbie Hicks; former father-in-law, Burk Head.

He is survived by his sisters, Wanda Carver and Brenda (Jim) O’Dell; brother, Billy (Tatia) Hicks; nieces and nephews, Tisa Carver, John Carver, Laura O’Dell, Marli Patten, Bay Patten, Riley Carver, Amber (Tojo) Stanley, Nathan Corder, Travis (Holley) Corder, Kaylee and Hunter Bell, Thatcher and Reid Corder and Logan and Carlton Rigsby; special friends, Patrick and Susan Brazelle; former mother-in-law, Mavis Head; sisters-in-law, Pamela (Vernon) Corder and Constance (Jimmy) Rigsby.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, in the chapel of Hamilton Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.

His family will receive friends from 4–8 p.m. on Monday, May 6, and from 12–2 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
