Fleetwood Coffee Monday announces a new distribution channel with Costco Wholesale Stores. The two-pound bag of whole bean coffee is of great interest to the big box giant, as it allows Costco to feature a quality, local product, said officials.
“We are very excited to have this relationship with Costco," said Jennifer Stone, founder and CEO of International Coffee Group. "The Roadshow Concept allows us to connect with coffee lovers and let them experience the difference in great quality coffee. I want to invite Chattanooga area Costco members to come in this Father’s Day weekend and sample these coffees with me.”
Originally roasted in Chattanooga in 1925, it is a legacy coffee that is gaining shelf space in stores such as Publix, Food City, and is available on the new Kroger Ship website. The brand features two distinct roast styles – Original Roast, the smooth, medium offering and Dining Car Blend, a bolder coffee that was originally served on the railcars of the Chattanooga Choo Choo.
Fleetwood Coffee will be available Thursday through Sunday, priced at $10.99 for the resealable two pound bag with on-site grinding available.
