  • Friday, June 14, 2019

The Obedience Club of Chattanooga's next session of Obedience, Rally, Agility, Canine Good Citizen, and Therapy Dog Classes for puppies and dogs will begin on Monday, July 8.

Participants may sign up online or come to an open house at 1:30 p.m. to register on Sunday, June 30, and orientation for classes from 2-3 p.m.  They should bring their dog's current shot records, but not their dogs, with the exception of puppies coming to the puppy play seminar.

There will be an outdoor Puppy Play seminar from 3-5 p.m. This is an opportunity to allow a puppy to play with other puppies, off-leash, in a safe environment. Julie Jones Thornton (a certified dog trainer) will supervise the puppy play.  Cost is $10 for regular members and $15 for student members. Off leash play with other dogs is an important way for a dog to learn safe social skills, said officials. The cost is $10 for regular members and $15 for student members.  Register online at occclub.org

To sign up for classes or for more information about classes, visit the website or call 463-0288.
