Jeanne Carol Lowrey, 50, of Chattanooga, died Friday, May 31, 2019.

She worked as the supervisor of Sentence Management at the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. She attended Red Bank High School and UTC.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Brody and Polly Murphy of Booneville, MS, Roy and Willese Lowrey of Booneville, MS and her step-brother, Don Mize of Murfreesboro, TN.

She is survived by her mother, Joan Mize; dad, Don Mize; sister, Dena Williams and “brother”, Jeff Williams; nephew, Taylor (Maggie) Williams; her “favorite little guy”, Layton Williams, all of Chattanooga; special aunt, Judy Murphy, Booneville, MS;  step-sister, Tracy Mize and fiancé Scott Raines, Woodstock, GA; father, Mark Lowrey, Tampa, FL; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, June 8, from 12 noon until 3 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held, Saturday, June 8, 2019 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road.

There will be no internment following the service as Jeanne’s wishes were to be cremated.

Honorary pallbearers will be Scottie Murphy, Chris Murphy, Joby Murphy, Nat Murphy, Kyle Murphy, Alan Berry, Derek Garvin, Chuck York, Dave Wilson.
