Michael Joe Youther, 61, of Dayton, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at his home in Dayton.

He was born on June 23, 1957, in Rockwood, the son of the late James and Luddie (Hackler) Youther.

Michael was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Vivian Godsey, Joy Dean Thurman, Phyllis Palmer, James Youther and Glenn Youther.

Michael lived in Dayton most of his life. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Youther of Dayton; his eight children, Maria Walker of Spring City, Michael (Jamie) Youther Jr. and Tina Flores of Texas City, TX, Vivian Youther of LA, Nancy (Michael) Godbehere, Lisa Lopez, Stephanie Creasman and Mark Youther all of Dayton; 36 grandchildren; two great-grandsons; his brothers and sisters, David Youther and Jeanette (Billy) Barley of Dayton, Karen (Kenny) Burns of Maryville and Timmy Youther of Chattanooga.

Funeral services for Michael will be held on Friday, June 7, at noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John McPherson officiating. He will be laid to rest in Cove Cemetery.
