Finnis Jones
Finnis L. Jones transitioned from this world to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 16, 2019.
He was a graduate of Riverside High School class of 1969 and attended Tennessee State University.
He was preceded in death by his Mother Dorothy Scruggs Jones and his Sister Lenice Jones.
He is survived by his son, Darryl (Valerie) Alexander; father, James E. Jones; brother, Maurice (Mildred) Jones, sister, Susan Jones (Kamal) Dorsainville, life partner and caregiver, Janice Gooden, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and dear friends;
Mr. Jones will lie in state beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, and the family will receive friends at 11 a.m.
A funeral service will follow at noon in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Highland Memorial Gardens.
