Trisha Davis

Trisha M. Williams Davis, 33, moved from her earthly home on August 17, 2019, as family prayed at her bed to accept God’s will.

She was born on Sept. 2, 1985, in Chattanooga to Antoine Williams, Sr. and Ethel Clay.

She attended school in Chattanooga and Maryville, Tn., and graduated from Chattanooga School for the Arts and Sciences, and continued her education at Lane College, UT Martin, and graduated from Howard University in Washington, D.C. with the Bachelor of Science and Master degrees in Health Sciences.  She worked as an occupational therapist in health care facilities in Maryland and as a contract home therapist.  Though her life was short she made a lasting impression on her family, patients and coworkers as caring, and a good friend.

Her legacy will remain in her two children, London and Lance Davis as they remember their mother with their father, Bobby Davis at their side. As her children and husband cherish her memory, so will her loving family.

She will be missed by her mother and father; grandmother, Reverend Ann Pierre, mother and father-in-law, Bobby and Earlene Davis, Sr.; brothers Antoine Williams, Jr. Jason Williams, Eddie Robinson; sisters, Brittany Williams, Andrea Davis-Clark and Evalyn Clark; aunts, Awayne Williams, Lisa (Chris) Herd; uncles, Alvin (Tammy) Williams, Johnathan Davis; and great-great-uncle, Henry (Donna) Crutcher. God Grandmother Nellie Davis. Other family members who will miss her are nieces, nephew, and cousins; in addition to close friends.

Ms. Davis will lie in repose after 2 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 22, and the family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.

A service of eulogy will be held on Friday, Aug. 23, at noon at Stephen Temple Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America at 1601 East Third Street, Chattanooga, with Reverend Earnest Jefferson as officiant and Reverend Ann Pierre as the eulogist. Interment will follow at the Chattanooga National Cemetery at 1600 Bailey Ave. immediately after the service.

In lieu of flowers, a gift may be made to the TRISHA FUND for Education by check mailed to 519 Terrell Street 37411 or by sending to $trishadavis8513(CashAP).
