Bernice Cuffee
Bernice Rebecca Cuffee, 82, of Chattanooga, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019, in the Hospice Care Center.
She was formerly employed by Peninsula General Hospital.
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband, James Cuffee; father, Elijah Bennett; mother, Annabelle Bennett Matthews; Joe Brooks, Jr.; son-in-law, Arthur Pickett; grandson, Clifton Brooks; great-granddaughter, Darmark McCane.
Survivors include long-time companion, Samuel Davis; son, Anthony (Wanda) Brooks of Long Beach, NY; daughters, JoeAnn (Tyrone) King, Marie Pickett, both of Chattanooga; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 18+ great-great-grandchildren; and a host of close family and friends.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, Aug. 31, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Taylor Funeral Home with Pastor Ronald Cook, Sr. as the eulogist.
