Pat Burkett Pierce
Pat Burkett Pierce, age 82, of Dalton, passed away Monday, August 26, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fletcher and Pauline Burkett; sisters, Mary Houston, Vivian Lovain, and Betty Quarles; and brothers, Alan, Michael, Jimmy and Ralph Burkett.
Mrs. Pierce was a member of Northwest Christian Fellowship Church of Varnell. She was a caring, loving woman that loved the Lord.
Survivors include her husband, Hansel Pierce of the residence; daughters and son-in-law, Sherry and Greg Vaughn, and Glenda Pierce Wright, all of Dalton; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Melissa Pierce of Dalton; sisters and brother-in-law, Jane Leonard of Rocky Face, and Donna Kay and Rick Long of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Connie Burkett of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Allison Osborne Deel, Allie Hayes, and Ryan Wright; and a special friend, Beverly Gibson.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, Aug. 29, at 1 p.m. at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Watkins officiating.
Burial will be in United Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, Aug. 28, from 5-9 p.m.
