Frances Parris, 95, was killed in an accident on Saturday afternoon on East Brainerd Road.
At approximately 3:56 p.m., the Chattanooga Police Traffic Unit responded to 6800 East Brainerd Road on a critical injury traffic crash.
A Buick Le Sable, driven by Phyllis Bates, 91, was in the left turn lane eastbound turning from E. Brainerd Road to Hickory Valley Road.
Ms. Parris was a passenger.
A Chevy Silverado pick-up, driven by Oz Perez, 21, was traveling west on E. Brainerd Road with a green signal. The Buick turned in front of the Silverado in the intersection causing a collision.
Ms. Parris was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS. She succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash.
No other passengers or drivers were injured.
