Home On 6th Avenue Damaged By Fire Tuesday Night

The Chattanooga Fire Department along with the East Ridge Fire Department responded to 3708 6th Ave. to a reported house fire Tuesday night. 

Once on the scene, firefighters found a small fire in the window on the side of the home.

Crews had the fire extinguished in a matter of minutes. 

A search was conducted and no one was located inside the house. It appears to be vacant. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage is estimated at $1000.
