U.S. Marine Corps Veteran Served In Vietnam

George Herbert McQueen, known as Geo, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2019.  

He was a graduate of Norview High School and Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Va., and was a United States Marine Corps Vietnam veteran. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, George D. and Clara D. McQueen.  

Survivors include his brothers, Michael (Kathleen) McQueen and Richard (Anna) McQueen; sister, Donna (Walter) Sansot; his partner in life, Jane Howard; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

Geo had many lifelong friends from Virginia Beach, Va., Norfolk, Va., Georgia, and here in Chattanooga.  

A celebration of Geo’s life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are by the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 8214 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.
