Motorcyclist, 35, Seriously Injured In Wreck On Shallowford Road Thursday Morning

A motorcyclist, 35, was seriously injured in a wreck Thursday morning on Shallowford Road.
 
At approximately 7:54 a.m., Chattanooga Police were notified of a traffic crash involving a motorcycle and a vehicle at 4600 Shallowford Road. The CPD Traffic Unit responded to the scene.
 
A Honda CBR 600 motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Shallowford Road in the left lane when it struck the rear of the vehicle, a Toyota Highlander, driven by a teenager, ahead of it.
 
During the collision the motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle. He was transported to a local hospital by Hamilton County EMS.
