Marty Darrell Smarty Crabtree, age 51, of Lee Street, Summerville, Georgia passed away Friday, September 13, 2019, at his residence, following an illness.
Born in Floyd County, Ga. on April 1, 1968, he was a son of the late James Edward and Dorothy Jean Haygood Crabtree. Mr. Crabtree was retired truck driver for Brownlow Trucking Company. In addition to his parents. he was preceded in death by brothers, Will Ed Crabtree and John Travis Crabtree.
Surviving are his wife, Susie Crabtree; daughter and spouse, Tonya and Ray, Jr. Caldwell; son and spouse, Tony and Brittany Crabtree; sister, Jeanette Jones; brothers, James Crabtree and Gary Crabtree; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 16, at 1 p.m. from Graveside in Pisgah Cemetery, with Rev. Ray Caldwell, Sr. officiating. Active pallbearers are Jimmy Eaves, Tony Crabtree, Ray Caldwell, Jr., Aaron Stricklin, Hope Jones, Rebecca Eaves, and Shelby Eaves.
Mr. Crabtree will be in state at his residence, 116 Lee St., Summerville, Ga. on Sunday, after 2 p.m.
