A male juvenile student was found in possession of a loaded handgun on campus at Washington Alternative School earlier Friday morning.
The HCSO has filed a petition with the Hamilton County Juvenile Court charging a juvenile for carrying a dangerous weapon on school grounds.
The juvenile student was released to the custody of the East Ridge Police Department for questioning regarding an incident that occurred off campus earlier Friday morning.
