Silverdale Baptist Academy High School Volleyball hosts Hixson High School tonight for their annual breast cancer awareness pink out game. The JV game will begin at 5 p.m. followed by the varsity at 6 p.m.

Between games, a special breast cancer survivor ceremony will be held in which Silverdale high school volleyball players will honor survivors. Also during this time, Cindy Pare of the MaryEllen Locher Scholarship Foundation will be talking about their foundation and the partnership with Silverdale Baptist Academy.

The MaryEllen Locher Scholarship Foundation provides college scholarships for high school students who have mothers or fathers that have been affected by breast cancer. These parents may be survivors, currently undergoing treatment or have passed away from breast cancer.
