Secretary Hargett To Present $20,000 Technology Grant To Chattanooga Public Library

  • Monday, September 23, 2019

Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett will present this year’s $20,000 Technology Grant to Chattanooga Public Library on Tuesday from 11:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. on the 4th floor of the Chattanooga Public Library Downtown Branch, 1001 Broad St.

Each year, the Tennessee State Library and Archives present state libraries with grants to increase the public’s access to technology and education. This year’s award is more than double the grant Chattanooga Public Library received in 2018, and the funds will go toward upgrading staff and public-access computers.
