Oiler, Robert "Bob" Allen, Sr. (Dayton)

Robert “Bob” Allen Oiler, Sr., 66, of Dayton, passed away early Tuesday morning, September 3, 2019, at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton.

He was born on September 5, 1952 in Huntington, WV, the son of the late Leo and Sadie (McClelland) Oiler. 

Bob lived in Dayton for the past 30 years. He was employed with IAC where he was a Process Engineer. Bob loved his family and his motorcycle, and was of the Protestant faith. 

He is survived by his wife, Cookie Oiler; his children, Robert ”Bobby” (Renee) Oiler, Jr. of Mentor, OH, Jessica (Mike) Lawson, Brian (Casey) Oiler, Amy Oiler, Stephen Oiler and Daniel Oiler all of Dayton; his grandchildren, Megan, Zach, Emmalee, Mikayla, Tyler, Marshall, Karlie, Ava, Kameron, Isaac, Sophia and Jackson; and great-grandchildren, Maverek and Oona.

Funeral services for Bob will be held on Friday, Sept. 6, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Mike Justice officiating. He will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens.
