Aileen Bell
Aileen Laminack Bell, 96, of LaFayette, went home peacefully to be with her Lord on Thursday, September 5, 2019, surrounded by her family.
She was an active lifelong member of Center Grove Baptist Church where she faithfully served in the WMU missions for life. She was a member and past president of the International Association of Rebekah Assemblies and recipient of the Meritorious Honor Award.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Griffin Bell; son, Gary Erland Bell; parents, Allen Mancel Laminack and Viola Cheatwood Laminack; brothers, Bivian Paul Laminack and Marlin Clifford Laminack; sister, Earnesteen Laminack Stacks Hughes; and granddaughter, Susan Lynn Kines.
She is survived by her son, Mack Allen (Glinda) Bell; daughter, Rubye Viola (Joe) Kines; sister, Emileen Laminack Blevins; three grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, church family friends and neighbors also survive.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8, at Center Grove Baptist Church with Pastors David Brown and James Earl Helton officiating.
Interment will be at Center Point Cemetery.
Deacons of the church will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
