Carolyn Robinson Elliott
Carolyn Robinson Elliott, 78, of Hixson, Tennessee, passed away on September 6, 2019, at Hospice of Chattanooga.
She was a graduate of Orange Memorial School of Nursing. Carolyn was a registered nurse for more than 50 years serving as Director of Nursing for most of her career.
Carolyn was married over 58 years to Charles Leslie Elliott of Soddy Daisy.
Carolyn’s Church family was Hixson United Methodist Church where she was an active and faithful member and was also in the Friendship Sunday School class.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Douglas and Edna Robinson; brother, Douglas Alan Robinson.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Elliott; sons, Mark Jeffrey Elliott of Hixson and Paul Christopher Elliott (DeAnna) of Richmond, VA; daughter, Leslie Kitchens (Chris); four grandchildren, Christopher Markus Elliott of Augsburg, Germany, Marley Taylor Elliott (Junseok Choi) of Jeonju, South Korea, Sophia Elizabeth Elliott of Richmond, VA and Tate Kitchens of Danville, GA; two great-grandchildren, Emily Elliott and Juno Elliott of Augsburg, Germany; sister, Patricia Robinson (John Guffey) of Tampa, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hixson United Methodist Church, 5301 Old Hixson Pike, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
A visitation will be held at Chattanooga Funeral Home, North Chapel on Monday, Sept. 9, from 4-7 p.m.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Hixson United Methodist Church on Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m. with Reverend Reed Shell officiating.
