Baylor Cross-Country Finishes 10th At Chickasaw Trails Invitational

On a hot morning in Danville, Alabama, the Baylor varsity cross country team competed at the Chickasaw Trails Invitational. 

Led by freshman Helen Webb, the Red Raiders placed 10th of 33 teams. Rounding out the Baylor varsity were seniors Emmy Davis & Hannah Rosser, Janie Pippenger, Addison Johnson, Rosa Anderson-Barrera, & Ava James. 

Coach Heather Ott praised the fierce performance of her stalwart harriers: “They faced brutal conditions with grace under pressure. We’re proud of their racing today.” 

Baylor next competes at the Tennessee Classic on September 21.
