Megan Swisher Joins Medical Staff Of Boehm Birth Defects Center

The Walter E. Boehm Birth Defects Center announce that Megan Swisher has joined its medical staff.  In her role as nurse practitioner and clinical care coordinator, Mrs. Swisher will lead the medical case management program for children born with birth defects of the brain and spine.

Mrs. Swisher earned her Masters of Science in nursing with a specialization in pediatric care from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is board certified as a pediatric nurse practitioner.

Prior to joining the Center, Mrs. Swisher worked as a registered nurse in the surgical ambulatory care unit at Children’s Hospital at Erlanger and in the specialty clinics at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
