Lendell Davis
Police said Lendell Davis, 34, was shot and killed at an apartment complex on Sixth Avenue early Wednesday morning.
At approximately 4:44 a.m., Chattanooga Police responded to a report of a person shot at 2424 Sixth Ave.
Upon arrival, police located a person with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the stairwell of an apartment building. He was taken to a hospital by Hamilton County EMS where he was later pronounced deceased.
Davis earlier spent a lengthy time in prison, then got into trouble while on supervised release.
He had been ordered last October to serve 20 more months in federal prison, but apparently had remained free.
