Donna Green-Chambers, born on May 22, 1945, passed away peacefully on January, 2, 2020. 

Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband and caregiver, Johnnie Dale Chambers, and is survived by her only child, who loved her dearly, Lisa and two adoring grandchildren, Lars Archibald, 29, and Gideon Bosley, 14. Donna Chambers was also preceded in death by her parents, Willie Mae and Bill Finley and two sisters, Joyce Brisendine and Annette Harris. 

She is survived by two sisters, Judy Finley Follett, of Morgan, Utah and Becky Finley Calhoun, of Buford, Ga., as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by many.

Donna graduated from Lakeview High School, 1963. Donna had a brilliant sense of humor and enjoyed a long life. She worked as a cosmetologist for many years, until pursuing her interest in nursing. In later years, she enjoyed her time at home, in Chickamauga, with her husband, John, until he passed.

Family and friends are invited on Saturday, Feb. 29, from 4-5 p.m., with a service to follow at the funeral home.

Donna’s family is extremely grateful for the care and consideration shown by the extraordinary employees of Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home.
