Bess T. Shepherd Elementary Closing Early Tuesday

  • Tuesday, January 21, 2020
Bess T. Shepherd Elementary School will dismiss early Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. due to a power outage caused by a vehicle hitting a utility pole in the neighborhood affecting power to the school. Power is not expected to be restored at the school for a few more hours, so the students will be dismissed early.

Students will be served lunch before dismissal and buses are in route to take students home. Staff will remain at the school until parents of students who are car riders can make arrangements for their child to be picked up today.
