The owner of a house on Signal Mountain where police on Friday night discovered a rowdy party with gang members present says he will not use the home for short term rentals again.

Curly Bryson said, "The person(s) who inquired about my home last weekend presented with a falsely verified profile, and I fell victim to their dishonesty and malicious intent. I could have never anticipated what was to come, or unfortunate circumstances that were to follow.

"I would never knowingly put my community in harm's way, and I am so grateful for the hard work of the Signal Mountain Police Department for how they handled the situation.

"I will no longer host short term rentals in my home. I look forward to moving on, and putting this behind me and my family."

Police found a stolen vehicle, three stolen guns among eight found, and 29 people at the small house at 404 South St. after getting a call about a backyard fight.

One person has been arrested thus far.
