James V. Hayes, age 66, of White Oak Road, Summerville, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020.
He was born Feb. 22, 1953 to the late Thelma Ruth Davenport Hayes and Vernon Hayes, who survives. Mr. Hayes was an auto mechanic and operator of Hayes Muffler Shop.
Surviving are his father, Vernon Hayes; daughter, Dr. Jamie Rollins; son, Matt Hayes; grandchildren, Emily Hayes, Kate Hayes, Sadie Rollins, and Maryn Rollins; sisters, Thelma Hall and Kathy Jarrett; brother, Allen Hayes; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 25, at 2 p.m. from the J. D. Hill Memorial Chapel of Earle Rainwater Funeral Home with Rev. David Hayes officiating.
