Alfred James Williams, Sr.
Alfred James Williams, Sr., age 61, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away Friday, January 3, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy Williams, Sr. and Bernice Henderson Williams; daughter, Bernice Williams; three sisters, Delaney Harris, Charlotte Cosby, and Della Darby; brothers, LeRoy Williams, Jr. and Marvin Parker, Jr.; and granddaughter, Innocence Houston.
He was married to Kelli Marsh Williams, March 29, 1991, and five children were born to their union. Surviving are Alfred Williams, Jr., Jessica Davis, Carl Williams, Sr., and Bryan Williams; grandchildren, Anthony, Nasir, Disire, Kennedy, Lanice, and Carl Williams, Jr.; sisters, Yvonne (Warren) Lemon, Deborah Moore, Annette (Maurice) Thompson; sister-in-law, Tara Marsh; nieces, nephews, cousins; close friends, Dorothy Wigfall, Angie Allen; and other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service will be held Thursday, Jan. 9, at noon at Taylor Funeral Home, 3417 Wilcox Blvd., Chattanooga, Tennessee 37406 with Rev. Andrew Bullard, Jr. as eulogist.
The family will receive friends at the Taylor Funeral Home one hour before the service.
Interment will be in Lake Wood Cemetery.
