Charles “Charlie” Reavley, 81, of Soddy Daisy, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020.

Charlie was born in Sale Creek to the late Carl and Mary Sullivan Reavley.  He was a retired pipefitter with Local # 43 for many years.  His life revolved around his family and friends. 

Charlie was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Harlene Davis Reavley and four brothers, Howard, Clyde, Thomas, and Claude Reavley.

Charlie is survived by his children, Carl Reavley, Judi Lowe, Scott Reavley and Stacy Lollie; five grandchildren; Chris Bowman, Debra (William) Hudson, Tyler (Emily) Reavley, Shane Lambert, and Joey Lollie; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25, and 10-11 a.m. on Monday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Charlie will follow at 11 a.m. on Monday at the North Chapel with Reverend Archie Poole officiating.  Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens. 

We respectfully request that "social distancing", wearing masks at all times, and all CDC measures be adhered to at the funeral home and cemetery.

Tennessee Has 3,052 New COVID Cases, 13 More Deaths; Hamilton County Has 320 New COVID Cases And 1 New Death

The number of coronavirus cases in Tennessee is 366,518 on Sunday with 3,052 new cases. There have been 13 more deaths from the virus, for a total of 4,554, said state Health Department officials. Georgia state health officials reported on Sunday there have been 4 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 8,778.
