Baylor Holds Second Blazer Ceremony For Seniors

  • Monday, October 26, 2020

A second senior blazer ceremony was celebrated during assembly on Friday for 22 for Baylor seniors who were not able to be on campus due to travel restrictions, quarantine protocols, or other reasons for the previous ceremony.

After comments from Shaw Wilson, assistant headmaster, Headmaster Scott Wilson assisted each senior with the donning of their blazer.

For more than a decade, seniors have received red blazers during a traditional convocation ceremony held each year on the first day of classes. Because an assembly with the entire school was not possible this year due to the pandemic, seniors were presented their blazers in a different ceremony.

A previous ceremony took place in the quad on Sept. 28.
