The newest show on Chattanooga local radio, "The BBQ Show," will debut Friday at 7 p.m. on WGOW - Talk Radio - 102.3. Steve Ray, the owner of The Midnite Oil Service Station and The Owls Nest BBQ Supply & Pro Shop, both located in Ooltewah, will host the one-hour show.

"I've been doing The BBQ Show on The Owls Nest BBQ Facebook page for two years, and I feel like it will be an interesting, entertaining show on traditional radio," Mr. Ray said. "I am really looking forward to callers asking questions about BBQ and other live fire cooking."

Mr.

Ray said BBQ has grown leaps and bounds in the last decade, and there is no end in sight.

"People are grilling and smoking more now than ever. Information and instruction are the number one product people crave," Mr. Ray said. "The BBQ Show will be a conduit for advice and conversation about America's original cuisine - BBQ."

The show will feature local and nationally known BBQ pit masters.
