Georgia Has 18 New Coronavirus Deaths, 1,897 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Monday there have been 18 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 8,644.

There were 1,827 new cases as that total reached 406,220 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 34,083, up 26 from Sunday. 

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 1,921 cases, up 24; 29 deaths, up 1; 96 hospitalizations, up 1

Chattooga County: 1,092 cases, up 4; 31 deaths; 76 hospitalizations

Dade County: 474 cases, up 4; 7 deaths; 26 hospitalizations

Walker County: 2,445 cases, up 18; 49 deaths; 111 hospitalizations

Whitfield County: 7,273 cases, up 62; 77 deaths; 344 hospitalizations
