Flora Belle Dean, a lifelong resident of Rising Fawn, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at her residence.
Ms. Dean was a graduate of Dade County High School, the Edmondson School of Business and received her B.S. degree from UTC. She became a member of Rising Fawn Baptist Church in 1949 and served as an assistant teacher of the Dorcas Sunday School class. Flora Belle taught school for three and a half years and retired from Chattanooga Gas Company following 25 years of service. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States, Canada, Israel and the British Isles, and loved working in her friendship flower garden.
Ms. Dean was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis & Blanche Dean.
Survivors include cousins, Lois Huckabee, Nancy Worde, Grandville Prince and David Russell.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m. at Long Cemetery in Rising Fawn, with Rev. Robby Dunn officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
