Troy M. Clines, 59, of Old Fort, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020 after a brief unexpected illness. He was an excellent carpenter and built many nice homes for others in the Cleveland area. He was an avid baseball fan, who played in his youth, and followed the Atlanta Braves and the Detroit Tigers. Troy enjoyed bowling and fishing, while spending many hours on the river with his brother. He was an avid classic movie fan and enjoyed watching and reading about them. He also never turned down a cup of “real” coffee.
Troy is preceded in death by his parents, Allen Clines and Viviene Clines Serridge.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan Clines; stepsons, Alan & Thomas Foley; his sisters, Gerri Darling, of Peoria, Il. and Cindy McDaniel (Rick), of San Jose, Ca.; his brother, John Clines and beloved sister-in-law, Vicki, of Cleveland; and many other nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, aunts and uncles, and cousins who all loved him deeply.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3 at Companion Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life Service to be held following the visitation at 7 p.m.
