Georgia Has 30 New Coronavirus Deaths, 2,412 New Cases

Georgia state health officials reported on Friday there have been 30 additional deaths due to the coronavirus. The current total is 8,746.

There were 2,412 new cases as that total reached 416,303 confirmed cases of coronavirus. 

Hospitalizations are at 34,605, up 18 from Thursday.

Here are the numbers by county:

Catoosa County: 2,010 cases, up 13; 29 deaths; 98 hospitalizations

Chattooga County: 1,119 cases, up 3; 31 deaths; 76 hospitalizations

Dade County: 492 cases, up 1; 7 deaths; 27 hospitalizations

Walker County: 2,534 cases, up 13; 50 deaths, up 1; 116 hospitalizations

Whitfield County: 7,507 cases, up 55; 82 deaths; 354 hospitalizations
