The East Ridge High School Pioneer family invites the public to join them at the school in a Celebration of Life Ceremony for the late Coach Catherine Neely on Saturday.
There will be two activities for the public to participate in during the day.
There will be a Walk Down Memory Lane in the school gym at 10 a.m.
and a celebration of life ceremony in the Raymond James Stadium at noon.
The gym doors will open at 10 a.m. and will remain open until 11:30 a.m. for the walk down memory lane. Please enter from the back of the building to participate in this portion of the celebration.
Stadium gates will open at 11:15 a.m. with the ceremony to begin promptly at noon.
The Pioneer family invites you to join them in celebrating the career and legacy of an East Ridge icon. There will be a stadium limit of 880 spectators for the event. All COVID-19 protocols and safety measures will be in place. These include wearing masks at all times and maintaining six foot distance from non-family members at all times. There will be a temperature check prior to entry. Anyone with a temperature in excess of 100.1F will not be allowed entry.

As a special request, ERHS would like to have all former players of Coach Neely who plan on attending the event gather in the “Old Gym” at 11:15 a.m. on the day of the event.
Legendary East Ridge High School coach Catherine Neely has died from COVID-19.
Coach Neely passed away of COVID on Nov. 18 at age 78.
She is in numerous Halls of Fame as a volleyball and basketball coach.
